Adult Waiver

Waiver, Release of Liability, and Agreement to Indemnify and Hold Harmless for ADULT Participants In LANWAR, INC.’s Events, Including Setup and Teardown

LANWAR, INC. is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants Individuals of all ages are welcome. However, each minor (under age 18) must have a separate Minor Waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian, even if attending with an adult participant. All participants must wear their badges at all times. For security purposes, events may be recorded via video surveillance.

 As a participant in LANWAR, INC. events, I hereby waive, release, and forever discharge LANWAR, INC., its officers, directors, employees, staff, and volunteers from any liability for personal injuries, theft, or property damage sustained during my participation in any LANWAR, INC. event, including setup and teardown activities, including claims arising from negligence, in whole or in part, by LANWAR, INC. or its representatives.

 I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless LANWAR, INC., its officers, directors, employees, staff, and volunteers from any claims by third parties for personal injury or property damage allegedly caused by my actions—whether unintentional, negligent, or intentional—at any time in connection with a LANWAR, INC. event.

NO SURGE PROTECTION PROVIDED
I also understand and acknowledge that no surge protection is provided by LANWAR, INC.  I understand it is my responsibility to provide suitable electrical surge protection for all equipment utilized by me at all LANWAR events.  By affixing my signature hereto, I agree to assume the risk that my computer, monitor, software or other equipment may be damaged or destroyed by power surges or other types of electrical activity. 

 YOUR EQUIPMENT IS YOUR RESPONSIBLITY
I understand that my computer and other machine(s) are my personal responsibility and liability and agree to indemnify and hold harmless LANWAR, INC.  its officers, board of directors, employees, representatives, volunteers and staff from any claims arising out of, in whole or in part, my use in any way of my computers, monitor, or other computer related equipment at any LANWAR, INC. event.

 PHOTOGRAPHY PERMISSION
I agree to grant LANWAR, INC. and its authorized representatives and sponsors permission to record, photograph, or capture video and other forms of digital media depicting my participation. I further agree that any such materials may be used in any form as part of future publications, brochures, or other promotional materials for LANWAR, INC., without payment of fees, royalties, special credit, or other compensation. Additionally, if I share photos or videos publicly (e.g., on social media), I grant LANWAR, INC. a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, distribute, and display such content for promotional purposes. This permission is granted indefinitely and may not be revoked retroactively for past media usage. LANWAR, INC. may also share photos and videos with event sponsors for promotional use in connection with their support of LANWAR events.

 MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION & EMERGENCY CONTACT
I agree to grant LANWAR, INC. and its authorized representative’s permission to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf in the event that I am unable to do so. I further acknowledge that LANWAR, INC. assumes no responsibility for the medical care provided, including but not limited to costs, expenses, or liabilities resulting from such treatment. I understand that I am solely responsible for any and all medical expenses incurred as a result of my participation in LANWAR, and I waive any claims against LANWAR, INC. related to medical treatment or emergency response measures taken on my behalf.

 AGREEMENT TO TERMS & CONDITIONS & CODE OF CONDUCT
I agree to abide by the LANWAR Terms & Conditions and the LANWAR Code of Conduct, understanding that violations may result in removal from the event without refund. Terms & Code of Conduct can be found at https://lanwar.com/lanwar-terms-conditions/ and https://lanwar.com/code-of-conduct/.

 By executing this waiver, release, and agreement to indemnify and hold harmless, I affirm that I am at least eighteen (18) years of age and acknowledge that I understand and agree to accept each of the statements, waivers, releases and agreements contained in this document and agree to abide by these policies. This waiver applies to all LANWAR, INC. event activities, including but not limited to event setup, active event hours, and teardown. (v2026-04)
