Terms & Conditions

By registering for and attending LANWAR, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Event Registration & Attendance

    • All attendees must complete registration and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
    • Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable unless explicitly stated by LANWAR.
    • LANWAR reserves the right to refuse entry or remove attendees for violations of rules.

2. Assumption of Risk & Waiver Requirement

    • Attendance at LANWAR is at your own risk. LANWAR, its staff, volunteers, and venue assume no liability for injury, lost/stolen property, or equipment damage.
    • All attendees must sign the official LANWAR Waiver prior to participation.

3. Minor (under 18) Participation

    • Minors require a signed Minor Consent Form.
    • Parents/guardians assume full responsibility for their minor’s actions and safety.
    • Minors may not roam the building unsupervised. (Updated 4/2026)
    • Overnight sleeping within the venue is strictly prohibited for minors in accordance with venue policies and the University of Louisville Youth Protection Program. (Updated 4/2026)
    • All minors must exit the venue by 1:00 AM and may re-enter no earlier than 7:00 AM, in compliance with the University of Louisville Youth Protection Program. (Updated 4/2026)

4. Equipment & Network Usage

    • LANWAR is not responsible for power surges or electrical damage to personal equipment.
    • Attendees must provide their own surge protection.
    • Network access is provided as-is; misuse or unauthorized access may result in removal from the event.

5. Prohibited Items & Activities

    • Weapons, alcohol, illegal drugs, and smoking/vaping are prohibited.
    • Attendees may not engage in any illegal activity, including software piracy or harassment.
    • LANWAR reserves the right to search attendee belongings if necessary.

6. Media & Photography Consent

    • LANWAR reserves the right to take and use event photos/videos captured by official event photographers and staff for promotional purposes without compensation.
    • By attending LANWAR, you acknowledge that public areas of the event may be photographed or recorded.
    • If you share photos or videos publicly (e.g., on social media) of the event, you grant LANWAR a non-exclusive right to use them for promotional purposes without compensation unless you notify us otherwise before posting.

7. Amendments & Enforcement

    • LANWAR reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
    • Failure to comply with these terms may result in removal from the event without refund.
