THE LANWAR RECON GAME

A real-world scavenger hunt celebrating geek culture!

Welcome to LANWAR’s version of a scavenger hunt. Hidden throughout the city are secret codes — tucked away in game stores, comic shops, computer retailers and hobby hangouts. All of these locations are proudly displaying one or more LANWAR posters & flyers to help support the gamer community. On each flyer is a unique handwritten code (bottom right). Whoever finds the most codes wins a prize, and everyone who finds at least one code will be entered into a prize drawing at LANWAR. So start exploring! Jot down the codes you find and bring them to LANWAR where we will post a form link to gather the results.  We’re actively working to add more participating stores, so check back often as the hunt expands!

Is the hunt not in your city?  We’d love your help expanding to surrounding areas to get flyers into gamer-friendly stores outside of Louisville. If you want to help spread the word, let us know — we’ll get you everything you need to represent!

Remember, as you visit each store, take a look around, maybe find something you didn’t know you needed — and definitely thank the folks behind the counter for supporting LANWAR and the local gaming scene.
